who'll be visiting us on this special day with his wife. Kick-off
is at 10am, but please arrive no later than 9.45am to ensure a good
place in the line and obviously a chance
to pick your fair share of eggs!!!

GHA Membership Dues
Thank you for supporting the
Glenwood Homeowners' Association. Our association benefits the
Glenwood, Peacock Crest and Seaview subdivisions.
All
the dues collected in the past have been either put into our savings
account for future projects or spent on projects that enhance and
benefit our community such as the entrance sign maintenance and
lighting, median beautification, community outreach, the new Wildland
Urban Interface Ordinance and annual activities to benefit our
neighborhood. Some of the activities that are enjoyed by all of
us are the annual Easter Egg Hunt and the neighborhood picnic at the
Victor Jones Park. Also watch for more information regarding the
Victor Jones Park renovation. The future may hold a new park for
all to enjoy.
We
are requesting that each household contribute $25.00
to our Association. Look out for a letter in the mail very soon.
We are also planning to
be providing an online payment facility for GHA Membership
Dues via either PayPal or Creditcard. Look out for a separate
announcement or check our online payment facility on
the Glenwood website going live very soon.
We
appreciate your support!

Vegetation Management coming to Glenwood in August
A message from San
Rafael Fire Department
Current State Government Code, as well as local City Ordinance,
requires homeowners within the Fire Severity Zones to create
Defensible Space around structures. Starting in August, Glenwood is
scheduled for the San Rafael Fire Department to begin their
Vegetation Management Program, a concentrated effort to remove
vegetation that poses serious threat to our neighborhood. The
Vegetation Program Ordinance in effect August 2007 required
homeowners to create Defensible space as outlined in the Ordinance which
also includes the removal of Juniper and Bamboo within 15-feet of
structures now, and by January 1, 2011 within 100-feet of
structures.
